DIY | Entryway Dresser

Yesterday, I began a project that had been lingering over my head for a month now.

I had bought an old dresser from a thrift store a while back, and once my husband moved in, it came out of storage and waited patiently in the entryway to be made pretty. It was dirty, out of date, and needed desperate help… here’s what I did:

1. Filled in any holes with furniture hole filler found at Lowe’s.  2. Sanded he entire piece down and wiped it all off with a damp sponge so no dust is left.  3. Primed  it, using spray paint primer, and let dry.  4. Painted it, using furniture spray paint, let dry, added second coat.  5. Trimmed paintable textured wallpaper to dimensions of the front of the drawers, followed wallpaper directions from there.  6. Let wallpaper sit overnight.  7. Drill holes where knobs should go, and screw knobs on!  7. Voila!

Take Flight.
